The 6th Education and Development Conference (EDC2011), held from 5th to 7th March 2011 at the Royal Benja Hotel in Bangkok, continued the growth and expansion of the EDC conference series during its early years. Bringing together educators, researchers and practitioners from around the world, EDC2011 strengthened the conference’s role as a boutique international academic platform dedicated to exploring education, human development and cross-cultural collaboration.

Although this edition predates the introduction of Tomorrow People Organization’s digital archiving system, EDC2011 contributed significantly to shaping the collaborative, inclusive and interdisciplinary character of the conference series.

Participants engaged in meaningful dialogue, shared research and case studies, and built lasting professional relationships — all within the warm, personal and community-oriented environment that continues to define the EDC identity.
