7TH EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE [EDC2012]

The 7th Education and Development Conference (EDC2012), held from 5th to 7th March 2012 at the Royal Benja Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, marked the final edition of the early years of the EDC series before the introduction of Tomorrow People Organization’s digital archiving system.

By 2012, the conference had already established itself as a respected boutique global academic gathering, bringing together educators, researchers and practitioners committed to exploring the role of education in human development, community empowerment and social progress. EDC2012 continued to strengthen the interdisciplinary, inclusive and collaborative character of the conference series.

Participants presented research, exchanged best practices, shared case studies and engaged in open, cross-cultural dialogue — all within the intimate format that has distinguished the Education and Development Conference since its founding.
