Integrating Historical Physics Vignettes in Teaching Kinematics during the Time of COVID-19
Jayson Abareta is an MST Physics graduate student of the Science Education Department, De La Salle University, who is currently working on his thesis research under the supervision of Dr. Voltaire Mistades. Dr. Mistades is Associate Professor of the College of Education, De La Salle University.
Voltaire Mistades is Associate Professor of the Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC College of Education, De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines. He has held the following administrative roles in the University: Vice Dean of the College of Science (2003-2006), Dean of Student Affairs (2006-2009), University Registrar (2013-2016), and Dean of the College of Education (2012-2013 and 2016-2018). He is currently the Director of the University's Core Curriculum. He obtained his M.S. Physics degree in 2001, doing work on conducting polymers. In 2011, he completed his Ph.D. in Science Education (major in Physics) working on a Substantive-Level Theory of Teaching Introductory Physics. His research interests include physics education, values education, technology in education, and teaching & learning in higher education. Currently, he is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Information and Education Technology. A passionate educator, he is a Hall of Fame awardee for the Students' Search for Outstanding Teachers (SSOT) after being awarded Outstanding Teacher for three consecutive years. In 2019, the World Education Congress conferred on him the Education Leadership Award.

What makes sex education interventions effective: needs and expectations?
Dr. Anastasia Eleftheriou holds a PhD in Complex Systems Simulation from the University of Southampton and a BEng in Computing from Imperial College London. Her Doctoral Thesis aim was to investigate the use of serious games simulations for public health issues, and, in particular, to explore the use of simulations to influence attitudes to sexual behavior. She has experience in applied research in various fields, like ICT, health, manufacturing, security, standardization and marine sector. She has extensive software engineering experience in various fields of ICT, both in industry and academia, working for organizations including Man Group plc, Orbis Investments, Mandara Capital, University of Southampton, Imperial College London, the Center for Technology Research and Innovation and Innov-Acts. She is a co-founder of Technologos and she is currently working for Technologos as a Senior Researcher. Dr. A.Eleftheriou has published several scientific papers in International Journals as well as in International Scientific Conferences.

Charizze Mae Andoy is born in a highly-urbanized city, a daughter of retired police officer, who was diagnosed from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at the age of 5, until Asperger's Syndrome until Sophomore year in High School. Despite of my disability, it is not a hindrance to be successful in life and hoping for a brighter future. I never enrolled in Special Education Classes until I graduated in College because my mom is always with me when I need her attention. Due to her presence, I am always grateful and thankful to her for being part of my journey as a person. As Matthew 7:7-8 says "Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find, and the door will be opened to those who knock."

Geofusion: A geopolitical guide for 21st Century why is geography important for understanding
Norbert Csizmadia studied in the University of Szeged and Pécs and graduated as a geographer. Between 2000-2002 he worked in the Ministry of Economic Affairs as the secretary of the Regional Economic Development Deputy State Secretary. He was participated in the Széchenyi Plan Economic Development Program and coordinated the preparation of many long term economic development plans. From 2004 he is a regional policy expert as a part of the European Commission’s initiative, Team Europe. In the fall of 2005 he is a secretary of the Hungarian Economic Consultation. As city developer geography took a part in the Heart of the Budapest City development program. In 2009 he is the coordinator and a coauthor of the Hungarian Vision 2025 strategy paper. His career in the Ministry for the National Economy: from the June of 2010 he is the Head of the Strategy Cabinet; from the year 2011 he is a Deputy State Secretary for Economic Planning; between 2012-2013 he was a State Secretary for Economic Planning. From 2013 to 2016, he is the Executive Director of Economic Strategy and Planning in the Central Bank of Hungary. He is the President of the Board of Directors of the Pallas Athene Domous Merite Foundation. and chief-editor of HUG (Hungarian Geopolitics Magazine).

Dr. Aida Mammadova is an Associate Professor at Kanazawa University, Organization for Global Affairs. She has PhD, in Environmental Medical Sciences. Her present research is education for sustainable development, environmental education and regional sustainability studies. She was awarded by UNESCO’s MAB (Man and Biosphere) Young Scientist Award 2019-2020 for her contribution in Japanese-Russian educational programs related to the Biosphere Reserves.

Undergraduate Students as Partners in research: A Case Study
Maria Assif is Associate Professor of English, the Coordinator of Critical Writing about Literature) and the Faculty Advisor of the joint Program (B.A. in English and a Master of Teaching) at the University of Toronto Scarborough. She is a seasoned higher education administrator, with many years of experience coordinating writing programs, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students and leading curriculum committees and initiatives. She is also the Faculty Advisor of the only Canadian chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society. Her research focuses on writing studies and pedagogy, Arab women writers, and students as partners (SaP) scholarship. Both her textbook, Beyond the Five Paragraph Essay (Oxford University Press) and her digital, critical database on Arab women writers are expected to be released in 2022. She is also the recipient of many research and teaching awards. She lives in Toronto with her husband and two young daughters.

Sonya Ho is currently an Honors Bachelor of Science candidate, majoring in Mathematics and minoring in English Literature and Psychology at the University of Toronto Scarborough. She is passionate about education, curriculum development and teaching, and examines these topics as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under the English Department at the University of Toronto Scarborough. Hiroyuki Obari is a professor at Aoyama Gakuin University and teaching part-time at Faculty of Law, Waseda University and in the Graduate School of Tokyo Institute of Technology. Born in 1953, he received the B.A. from the University of Oklahoma (Political Science), M.A. from ICU (Public Administration), M.A. from Columbia University, and PhD from the University of Tsukuba (Computer Science). Visiting researcher at the University of Oxford (1998, 2007, 2018~2020) and AIST (from 2006~present) in Japan. He specializes in CALL and TESOL. His recent publication is “Implementing Mobile Language Learning Technologies in Japan” (Sato, McCarty, and Obari, Springer, 2017).

“Disrupted” Leadership Finding Unique Solutions to Lead
Lead by example, treat each other better than you expect to be treated, and live life to the fullest! These are motos that Heather McCaig lives by. Heather graduated from University in 1995 and taught in a number of schools in Alberta, Canada. She has taught at her current school, Crescent Heights High School since 1999. Leadership and Social Studies are her passions. She is a teacher with a big heart and is heavily involved in the Student Council and Key Club at school. in 2005 she had the opportunity to go the the Canadian Student Leadership Conference where she learned that Leadership was a course taught in many schools. She returned to her school and CHHS Leadership was born! She has developed courses from grade 7 to 12 and now has hundreds of students take leadership at her school yearly. Heather lives what she teaches. She is one of the top elected officials in her Teacher's Association for the Province of Alberta and is also the President of the Alberta Association of Student's Councils and Advisors. Heather believes very strongly in helping others and that half of teaching is actually the relationships that you can build with your students. Her door is always open, and students know that they always have an ear to listen to them and a mentor to ask questions to.

Prof. Joanna Madalińska-Michalak is a Full Professor of Social Sciences (Educational Research). She is based at the Faculty of Education, University of Warsaw, Poland. She is a Head of the Chair of Didactics and Teacher Education, a member of the Board of Scientific Discipline, University of Warsaw and a member of the University Board of the Pedagogical University in Cracow, Poland. She is a Honorary Professor at School of Education, Aarhus University.
She is an author of more than 250 scientific publications, mainly articles in journals and books. She is a member of editorial boards and a member of reviewers’ panels for such scientific journals as Teachers and Teaching: Theory and Practice, European Journal of Teacher Education and South African Journal of Education. Her research work has focused on teacher education, educational leadership, teachers’ and school principals’ development, and research ethics. Now, she is involved in the ICET-MESHGuidlines research on Teacher Experience and Practices in the time of Covid-19 and in the ISSPP project on school leadership. She is involved with global, international, and national scientific organisations. She is a Vice-President of World Education Research Association (WERA), Chair of the Teacher Education Policy in Europe (TEPE) Scientific Network, and President of the Polish Educational Research Association (PERA). Irish Chan Sioson, Ph.D. is a lecturer at the Western Languages Department, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Thaksin University, Thailand. She has two masteral degrees: Master of Arts in English and Master of Business Administration. She earned her doctorate degree in English from the oldest university in the Philippines - University of Santo Tomas. Despite her physical deficiency as a folio victim, she travels for paper presentations and conference attendance. She believes that education is a lifelong learning and meeting other groups of professionals gives her encompassing experiences and gainful learning. In her workplace, she writes learning modules, panels graduate theses, and edits papers. Professor Akinori Seki is the director of the Center for General Education and the chairperson of the International Exchange Committee at Tokyo Keizai University. He is also the president of AAEE, Asia Association of Education and Exchange (a general incorporated association in Japan). Professor Seki has been in charge of more than 30 international cultural exchange projects with university students conducted mainly in Asian countries such as Nepal, Vietnam, and Thailand since 2008. As a professor and the president of AAEE, he has also hosted more than ten events, including International Student Summits supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan and JICA (Japan International Corporation Agency).

Edu. from Utsunomiya University in Japan and M.A. from the University of Kansas in the U.S. He was Honorary Visiting Scholar at Bond University (1994-95), University of Queensland (1995), and Queensland University of Technology (2010-2011) in Australia and University of British Columbia (2001-03) in Canada. He specializes in Computer Assisted Language Learning and Intercultural Communication. He was the co-founder and the first chair of JALT CALL SIG and CIEC FLER SIG and the founder and first president of the JALT Toyohashi Chapter. He is Apple Distinguished Educator 2013 and Global Scale of English Thought Leader 2016.

Dhofar, Oman: Land of frankincense, land of five endangered languages
After working for various investment banks in NYC and Bangkok, Dr Susan Crosbie returned to academia and earned her doctorate in education from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus, USA in 2006. Her inspiration came after teaching at an adult literacy program in the Republic of South Africa from 1996-2001. She has been teaching in the Arabian Gulf for over seventeen years, and currently during the academic year, she acts as an educational consultant for K-12 schools. Her research interests include 1) academic integrity and the use of technology, including artificial intelligence, not only in the identification of academic fraud but also in guiding students how to use technology to build vocabulary to avoid plagiarism, and 2) MSALs (Modern South Arabian Languages) of Oman which are included in the UNESCO list of endangered languages. She is currently researching to write a book chapter about the two recently deceased, greatly loved leaders His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand and His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman.

The Use of Drama Improvisation in Enriching Speaking Skills of Selected Students in Chiang Kai Shek College: Basis for a Conversation Model as a Teaching Strategy
Mr. Jon Aldrin Antonio is a full-time performing arts (drama) and CAS teacher in Chiang Kai Shek College's International Baccalaureate MYP and DP. He also handles language classes for the College Department. He finished his Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education major in Speech and Theater Arts at the Philippine Normal University in 2017. To further improve his expertise in the field, he took Master of Arts in Education major in English Language Teaching in Chiang Kai Shek College. Aside from these, he was also able to complete his 120-hour TESOL Certification at the International Education Consultancy Corporation (ITECC) Philippines and 120-hour TEFL for Teaching English as a Foreign Language in the Professional Development Institute. He also ensures his community involvement by organizing international conferences for his students, and by taking part in founding the Youth Educators Society, a teacher's organization that helps the less-privileged students.

Uri Ben-Ari is a seasoned international businessperson with 35 years of experience in senior management and entrepreneurship. Uri specializes in developing and implementing strategic business and marketing plans for companies active in international markets. Over the course of his career, he has undertaken senior management and business/market development activities in the United States, Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, Israel, India and the Far East. Uri has developed expertise in the area of “smart cities". Over the last 8 years, he has consulted 8 leading cities in Israel in becoming “smart cities” using methodologies developed by Uri in tandem with models developed by leading universities and research institutes in Europe. |

Monika Skura is a PHD professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Warsaw. She is a graduate of Warsaw University and Academy of Special Education in Warsaw. She has also postgraduate certificates in Philosophy and Teaching Polish as a Foreign, both from the University of Warsaw. She has professional experience in working with children and teenagers with SEN. She also is a co-founder and volunteer (from 1994) of an association of physically disabled people.
