FAQ – EDC2026 21st Education and Development Conference

Have questions about the 21st Education and Development Conference (EDC2026)? Our FAQ section is here to help! Whether you’re curious about the application process, presentation formats, or event logistics, you’ll find detailed answers to make your EDC2026 experience seamless and enjoyable. Explore the sections below to get all the information you need.
Where does the Conference take place?
The EDC2026 will take place in Bangkok, Thailand at "Radisson Suites" hotel.
What language is the conference held in?
The official language of the conference is English and all sessions will be held in English language. Note, we will host individuals from all over the world and you are not expected to be a native speaker, but you should be able to communicate with others.
Can I present remotely?
Yes, we do offer a possibility for speakers to present remotely if they are not able to travel and join us in person. Please, check the page 'call for papers' for more information.
DO I HAVE TO PRESENT A PAPER?
No. You may join the conference as an observer as well, of course, in case your application is accepted.. The main value of the EDC experience is - the people and we encourage networking in the friendly and safe EDC environment. We are very proud of countless lifetime friendships and numerous collaborations born in the past EDCs.
WHAT DOES THE CONFERENCE FEE COVER?
The conference fee covers: invoice for paid admission, conference kit (brochure, conference program, notepad, pen and name tag), admission to all conference sessions, coffee and lunch breaks throughout the conference, review of a submitted paper, it's presentation and publication in the official conference proceedings (for authors), copy of the conference proceedings publication and a certificate of attendance (certificate of presented paper - for authors).
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE?
The conference is open to anyone interested in the topics covered, regardless of age, gender, national, cultural, religious, professional and educational backgrounds. However, space in the conference is limited and delegates are carefully selected in order to ensure culturally and professionally diverse environment, which is, we believe, where true learning happens. We host: scholars, professionals, policy makers, students and other individuals that can benefit from and contribute to the overall experience.
DO YOU OFFER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE?
Due to a non for profit nature of the conference, we have very limited resources to financially support our attendees. Instead, we encourage participants to search for funding from outside organizations and we provide accepted applicants with the letter of support to enhance their fundraising efforts. A number of our participants receive some sort of funding from their home universities as well as from the local NGO, corporate and governmental sectors in their communities

In addition, we can offer a limited amount of scholarships in the form of a partial admission fee reduction and a full admission fee waiver for remote speakers from war affected areas and participants from countries that are subject to international sanctions. Please, note that only a limited number of scholarships can be allocated, depending on the available budget and quality of application. The evaluation process may take up to 2 months.
